What parallel can you draw between Belshazzar and Satan (2 Tim. 2:20-21,26)?
"In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the master and prepared to do any good work. And that they will come to their senses and escape from the rap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will." 2 Tim. 2:20-21,26
Belshazzar took what was set apart and made holy for their keg party.
Just like Satan tries to do with us..if he can get us to cooperate.
Satan is nothing but subtle so we are often unaware at first that we're cooperating!!
How many times have I been caught in his snare?
But, if we turn our lives and hearts over to God he will cleanse us and use us for his purpose.
I am the holy vessel that Satan wants to use for unholy purposes and as God's holy child, he wants to prepare ME for great use!
